i downloaded this new app at the app store store called 'grooveshark.' it's basically like a pandora but you can specifically play any song you want. and when i say any, i mean any. there are multiple genres of music as well as international (chinese) songs.
grooveshark was recently put in the app store after much anticipation. apparently yesterday it was also pulled. lucky i got it while it was available!
naturally i started asking J to think of any 'rare' songs - and of course her usual list is a bunch of early madonna, 80's, and then disco. here are the list of songs in their respective orders.
madonna - causing a commotion
bangles - my side of the bed
donna summers - don't leave me this way
amii stewart - knock on wood
as we are playing these songs, my musically inclined son starts dancing and going crazy busting out moves i've never seen before. here's a sample.
disco max from grant lin on Vimeo.
max really seems to love disco and dancing to disco (like his mother).
if you take away nothing from this entry, here's a summary:
1. grooveshark has a lot of F'ing songs - but it's not avail anymore.
2. max likes to dance
