
fuck you comcast. sorry to put it so bluntly, but your customer service is a piece of shit.
is there better way to vent about a bad customer service experience - than to blog about it? that way your friends can just read your blog to see what happened instead of having to repeat the story over and over.
comcast is no noob to poor customer service - in fact they have a horrible reputation. i actually begun searching online for where i could file a complaint. consequently i dug up hundreds of complaint letters. i started reading them - and - most of them were much worse than my experience.
one entry that stood out was about a lady who was trying to cancel her cable tv portion of her service (comcast bundles TV, internet and phone service in one package). the service agent actually told her that her download speed would suffer because of it - trying to dissuade her to cancel. what a crock of shit! fucking jokers.
so in short, i had a problem with my internet connection. after hours of being on the phone with support, after getting put on hold for literally 5 minutes at a time, after asking for a supervisor and getting hung up on, after getting stood up by the technician who was supposed to come onsite today and wasting a half day of work waiting for him at home - i'm throwing in the towel. fuck it, you win comcast, i'll just deal with the shitty service. it's not worth fighting. i'm actually tired of complaining (yes me). i wasted my whole day on this and now i'm wasting more time blogging about it. *sigh* if i actually had a choice, i'd probably choose another provider, but i can ONLY get comcast in my area.
