wow. where do i really start. wifey and i have been preggo for 5 months now. we had been trying and one morning she surprised me while i was still half asleep. immediately i asked her to clarify, and a few pregnancy tests later - here we are.
today we had our first ultrasound - 20 weeks in - and found out we're having a boy! honestly both of us didn't really care which we had as long as we have one boy and one girl. this does mean however we'll probably get fewer hand me downs since my sister's kids are both girls. nevertheless we both are extremely elated as are our parents.
so some of you know there is a chinese conception calendar that is supposed to predict the sex of your baby based on the mother's age at conception and the month conceived. this chalked me and wifey up for a girl - so this whole time we were expecting a girl, and only have thought of girl names. so we were quite surprised today when we found out that it's going to be a boy. the chart was wrong ! infact in the office they had a running tally of how many times the chart was correct and incorrect and apparently it's more often incorrect. pictures below.

when we saw the images up, i think things started to hit me. the pregnancy became real and all these thoughts rushed through my mind. he could be the next president or the first dual professional sport athlete (badminton and football) or (baseball and table tennis). it was quite a moment for me.
